Taylor 314Ce Builder'S Edition Ltd 50th Natural Top
This limited edition 50th anniversary 314ce is part of a series of commemorative models created to celebrate Taylor's 50th year milestone. Several premium upgrades have been made to the popular Taylor Grand Auditorium 314ce cutaway, starting with a torrefied spruce top, which adds an extra touch of responsiveness and warmth to its musical personality. Taylor's special recipe for roasting the top slightly darkens the Sitka soundboard, and enhanced that vintage character with a gradient Edgeburst effect artfully sprayed around the body and neck.
A firestripe tortoiseshell pickguard adds a bold visual touch, while other complementary aesthetic details include gold Taylor tuners and ebony bridge pins with gold acrylic dots. Other featured accessories include a 3-ring rosette with contrasting black and white purfling, black body binding, Italian acrylic Gemstone fretboard/pegstone inlays, and a rich, full-gloss body.
The guitar also sports the newly designed 50th anniversary commemorative label.Musically, somewhere between the torrefied top and the Class V, this Grand Auditorium will delight players with its musical versatility, offering Taylor's signature balance and clarity with warmth , pleasant projection and support. And the signature playability of the neck promises to attract guitarists at the first strum.
Integrated ES2 electronics and a deluxe Taylor hardshell case complete the offering. It all adds up to an elegant, beautifully crafted musical instrument that will provide years of stimulating musical activity. Production will be limited to 1974 guitars worldwide.
