A cheap guitar and a couple of detergent buckets. Looking at Your Music today, you wouldn’t guess that’s how it all started. But it’s in people’s nature to pour their soul into their work. And those who succeed are happy.
From that little guitar and those kitchen buckets, we moved forward. We teamed up with friends, bought better guitars, switched from detergent boxes to drum kits, played free for friends, and earned our first money in pubs.
And from budget instruments, we moved to those you see in our idols’ concerts. We studied, evaluated, opened, and dissected them. In short, we gained experience: we turned it into a job, our life.
Over the years, expanding our space, we capitalized on that experience and compared it with other enthusiasts; whether they were casual players, collectors, or professionals didn’t matter. The goal was always to combine opinions on each instrument to learn more about them. Because an instrument absorbs even the breaths and guides the hands along with the emotions of its owner, leaving a different voice for every ear.
Today, we aim to share what these instruments have told those who’ve held them, hoping to satisfy your curiosity as we satisfied our own. And we hope to help you find "your music," because selling an instrument is one thing, but selling "your instrument" is another. When we succeed, we feel good. All of us at Your Music.
