The StingRay Ray34 neck is crafted from roasted maple, a thermally treated wood that provides stability and a smooth, worn-in feel right out of the box. The roasted maple neck requires less maintenance while delivering familiar playability that most bassists crave. A 20 fret fingerboard offers plenty of room for complex basslines and solos.
Single Alnico Humbucker Provides Iconic Punch
The StingRay Ray34 is equipped with a single Music Man-designed alnico humbucking pickup that provides the punchy, defined tone the StingRay series is known for. The humbucking pickup captures rich lows, present mids, and singing highs for a balanced tone that sits perfectly in the mix.
Active 3-Band EQ Offers Tonal Control
An on-board 3-band active preamp gives you control over your tone with bass, midrange, and treble EQ knobs. Dial in deep lows, scooped mids, and crisp highs or flatten the EQ for a balanced tone. The active preamp requires a 9-volt battery but provides far more tonal control than a passive setup.
