Twenty years ago, the Little Green Wonder (LGW) established itself with its sculpted headroom and EQ curve, making the overdrive pedal a special ally for guitars and amplifiers of all kinds. With just one control (Body), this pedal, closely aligned with both single coils and the humbuckers of the connected guitar, offered a massive and varied amount of gain, satisfying both the guitarist using it as a standalone overdrive and in combination with other overdrive pedals, boosts, and amps.

With the new Little Green Wonder, the Finnish brand maintains the basic concept while (manually) refining the circuitry and the equipment. Now, there are three controls: Volume, Body (setting the overdrive frequencies – from low-end and midrange emphasis, to smoother highs, to midrange frequencies devoid of bass), and Drive (controlling saturation, sustain, and harmonic content), all of which can be fine-tuned using the onboard parameters.
