Ibanez Avc9Ceopn Open Pore
The AVC9CE is an electro-acoustic Grand Concert guitar from Ibanez' Artwood Vintage series. It has a solid mahogany top and a spruce X bracing that have both undergone Ibanez' Thermo Aged treatment which dries out the wood giving the instrument more volume and an enhanced frequency range.
Extra warmth is added to this guitar's sound by the mahogany back, sides and neck and the overall tone is just as good whether you play it with your fingers or a plectrum. The bridge saddle and string nut are both made of bone which enhances the transference of the string vibrations to the body and even small details like the bridge pins have been looked at. This electro-acoustic has Ibanez Advantage bridge pins that are not only secure, they're easier to put in and take out as well. The neck's soft V profile and practical cutaway on the body are other features that enhance this guitar's playing comfort. When it comes to amplification, you can rely on the Fishman Sonicore pickup and the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamplifier. As well as having a handy built-in tuner, the preamp also has bass, treble and volume controls for tweaking the sound to perfection. You've even got the choice of connecting to an amp via a balanced XLR or a mono jack output.
