The Ibanez AEG1221 12-String is built as a reliable workhorse for players who want shimmering twelve-string texture without the bulky feel. Its slim AEG single-cutaway body delivers a balanced acoustic voice with clear projection, while remaining comfortable against the body for long sessions. A spruce top provides crisp articulation and sparkle, paired with sapele back and sides that add warmth and control, all finished in the understated Black Out look.
The Comfort Grip nyatoh neck and Macassar ebony fretboard make fretting smooth and familiar, even with the added tension of twelve strings. Plug in and the T-bar II undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TTS preamp deliver clean amplified tone with simple volume and shape control plus an onboard tuner. Designed for rehearsal, recording, and stage work, the AEG1221 offers classic twelve-string character with modern practicality.
