The Gretsch Catalina Club series blends traditional configurations and classic sound with elegant, contemporary hardware innovations. The four-piece Catalina Club configurations are built around the beloved 14-inch bass drum, giving each configuration a warm, punchy vintage sound. The Catalina Club's hardware gives the series a distinctive "new Gretsch" style that pays homage to the company's rich heritage while infusing it with an exciting, progressive personality. From the round "gas cap" bass drum mounting plate and Mini GTS mounting system to the low-mass tom brackets and Gretsch T-Wing nuts and bolts, the Catalina Club offers incredible playing comfort. The classic Gretsch mahogany shells are still constructed with the same natural interior and 30-degree bearing edge that made them famous. The bass drums include telescopic spurs and matching wood bass drum hoops. The toms and snares feature 1.6mm triple-flanged hoops, and all Catalina Club drums come with Remo heads.
