The Les Paul Standard 50s Mahogany Top retains the classic design that made it famous, making it one of the most beloved and played guitars of all time, shaping sound across generations and musical genres. The Les Paul Standard 50s Mahogany Top features a solid mahogany body with a mahogany top replacing the traditional maple top. This feature is shared with some Les Paul Customs, many even with all-mahogany bodies, resulting in a slightly warmer tone with more pronounced mids. Everything you love about the Les Paul Standard 50s has remained unchanged, including the mahogany neck with a rounded 50s Vintage profile and a rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. It also features an ABR-1, the classic Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, an aluminum stop bar, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone knobs and black Top Hat knobs. The Burstbucker™ 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are driven by Alnico 2 magnets and wired with logarithmic pots and Orange Drop™ capacitors.
