The Fender® Vintera III Series offers meticulously recreated vintage-style models that capture the authentic look, feel, and sound of iconic Fender instruments from the '50s, '60s, and '70s.
The Early '60s Vintera® III Jazz Bass® features an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard for that classic, punchy, and defined Fender tone. The early-’60s “C”-shaped maple neck, 7.25”-radius rosewood fingerboard and vintage-tall frets provide supreme comfort and superb playing feel. The instrument is equipped with a pair of early-’60s vintage-style single-coil pickups for all the punchy, articulate, warm, woody tones that Fender® is famous for. Other features include a vintage-style bridge with 4 saddles for maximum sustain and intonation reliability and vintage-style tuning machines for enhanced tuning stability.
