The Player II Modified Stratocaster® is a classic model designed for the modern player. Every neck feature is designed for smooth, fast playability, from the Modern “C” profile and smooth satin urethane back finish to the 1-piece slab rosewood or maple fingerboard with a comfortable 9.5” (24.13 cm) radius and beveled edges, featuring 22 medium jumbo frets. The alder body delivers classic Fender punch and is available in a variety of stunning new finishes. Player II Noiseless™ pickups deliver classic Strat® sparkle while eliminating unwanted noise, and the second tone control switch offers even more tonal flexibility by adding the neck pickup to the switch positions 1 and 2. The two-point anchored vibrato, short-tree locking tuners, TUSQ® nut and modern string tree work together to maintain incredibly stable tuning, while the extended throw of the beveled tremolo block allows players to guitarists to get an even more expressive and musical vibrato from their instrument.
