The Fender Custom Shop 1964 Precision Bass Relic is an authentically styled model with updated features in order to suit the modern player. From the headstock to the strap button, each and every detail of this model has been meticulously crafted to recreate a vintage Fender that was loved by many.
However, aesthetics and design aren't everything. Its playability also needs to be sublime an the 1964 Precision Bass has lived up to expectations. It boats a round-laminate rosewood fingerboard and a quartersawn maple neck, ensuring your groove, riffing, and shredding is as smooth, effortless, and responsive as possible. This craft has been complemented by the low-end punch of the hand-wound '62 Precision Bass pickup, which offers a wealth of classic tones.
