Dunlop EVH95 Cry Baby EVH Wah
The EVH95 Cry Baby EVH Wah is Dunlop's wah pedal based on Eddie Van Halen's wah. This pedal features a custom inductor, pot, and frequency range.
The EVH95 Cry Baby EVH Wah was developed after an intensive collaboration with legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen. Early in the design process, Eddie gave Dunlop his own wah pedal, a standard Cry Baby custom-built in the early 1990s with a high-Q inductor and a wider frequency range. Surprisingly, Dunlop discovered that over the years, Eddie's wah-playing style, which focuses primarily on the midrange, had carved out its own curve in the pot's resistance, making the mids more defined and boosting the depth of the lows. Dunlop cloned the signature elements of that wah, recreating the tone of Eddie's pedal, and, together with graphics based on the famous black and yellow striped guitar used on Van Halen II, gave this pedal a legendary voice and look.
POWER SUPPLY
This pedal can be powered by a 9-volt battery or a 9-volt power supply such as the Dunlop ECB003, DC Brick, Iso-Brick, or Mini Iso-Brick (not included).
