The 0.12 mil outer ply and 0.19 mil inner ply, along with a 0.05 mil damper ring under the vibrating head, eliminate excess harmonics and control sustain.
14" White Double-Ply Snare Head: 0.13 mil outer ply and 0.19 mil inner ply.

The Dry version features perforations along the perimeter that eliminate isolated harmonics and create a drier sound.
