Created in collaboration with Gibson™ Custom, the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul™ Standard is Epiphone's incredible reproduction of the rare vintage classic, reimagined to be more authentic and true to the original than ever. It features a mahogany body with a maple top and AAA flame maple veneer, a one-piece mahogany neck with a comfortable '59 rounded profile, long tenon, and Gibson-style R9 "open book" headstock, a VOS (Vintage Original Sheen) finish, Gibson Custombucker humbucking pickups, a Switchcraft® switching switch and 1/4" jack, CTS® pots, '50s wiring, Mallory™ capacitors, a non-beveled pickguard, vintage-style Epiphone Deluxe tuners with Keystone knobs, and a vintage-style brown and pink hardshell case.
