Electro Harmonix Lpb-3 Linear Power Booster e EQ
The LPB-3 Boost & EQ combines the signal amplifier (boost) with an active 3-band equalizer.
The boost section of the pedal allows a volume increase of 20 or even 33dB, ideal for standing out in even a particularly dense mix without altering the original timbre of the instrument, but also for pushing an amplifier on its clean channel or on a crunch channel to obtain greater punch and distortion.
We also have a useful pre-gain control, so you can choose whether to use a clean boost or not.
Not only that, hidden inside the chassis we find a circuit which, by raising the voltage to 30 volts, obtains greater headroom and sound dynamics.
The equalizer, divided into bass, midrange and treble, provides precise control over the shape of the sound. Each band of the equalizer can be adjusted independently, allowing musicians to get exactly the sound they want.
Since the medium frequencies are the "kingdom" of the guitar, for these we not only have the level adjustment, but also the specific frequency on which we are going to operate and the Q (the amplitude of the intervention bell).
The pedal is housed in a metal nano chassis, resistant to impacts and ideal for intensive use on stage. The controls are intuitive and easily accessible, making it easy to make quick adjustments during live performances.
You can choose between True and Buffered as the bypass type.
