La D-28 Satin Amberburst è la chitarra acustica con forma dreadnought della serie "Standard" di casa Martin & Co. Presenta top in Abete con colorazione Amberburst, fasce e fondo in Palissandro Indiano, manico in Mogano e tastiera 20 tasti in Ebano. La finitura su tutta la chitarra è Satin, nut da 45 mm, lunghezza di scala da 645 mm, ponte in Ebano con pin bianchi in plastica, saddle in osso compensato, meccaniche Nickel Open Gear e fornita con custodia Hardshell.

Le Martin Dreadnought, come la D-28, sono note per il loro tono forte e proiettivo e per i bassi potenti. Questo modello è costruito con le stesse specifiche della D-28 standard, ma ora Martin offre questo caposaldo di lunga data con top, fondo e fasce satinate. Il top include un accattivante amberburst. La D-28 Satin Amberburst è realizzata con fondo e fasce in palissandro delle Indie Orientali, che sono molto risonanti e offrono bassi profondi e toni ricchi.
