The Custom 24 40th Anniversary is the electric guitar that celebrates four decades of PRS guitars. Limited to 400 units worldwide, this instrument combines traditional and modern features. It features a Mahogany back and neck, a Top-Grade Maple top with Retro Violin top carving, "Old School Birds" inlays and a "Pre-Factory" headstock logo. It has a Ziricote fingerboard and the new DMO pickups. It comes with a PRS ATA Multi-Fit Case that includes a 40th Anniversary certificate. Tiger Eye color.
PRS CUSTOM 24 40TH ANNIVERSARY TIGER EYE OVERVIEW
PRS celebrates 40 years of electric guitar production with the PRS Custom 24 40th Anniversary, an instrument that combines traditional and modern specifications suitable for musicians and collectors. Limited to 400 units worldwide, this guitar is crafted in the traditional way with a Mahogany back and neck. The artist-grade maple top boasts a Retro Violin carving, while the fingerboard features “Old School Birds” inlays with edges. The headstock sports a “Pre-Factory” PRS eagle logo, paying homage to the earliest PRS guitars. In addition to these aesthetic features, the Custom 24 40th Anniversary is equipped with the new PRS DMO pickups in both the bridge and neck positions. DMO stands for Dynamic, Musical, Open, attributes bestowed upon us by Paul Reed Smith, who designed these humbuckers with his engineering team to achieve an open, vocal sound. The bridge is a PRS Gen III, while the tuning machines are PRS Phase III with Wing tuning machines, introduced with the 2024 Core lineup. This limited edition features a Ziricote headstock veneer and fingerboard, and comes with a PRS ATA Multi-Fit case containing a hand-signed 40th Anniversary certificate. Tiger Eye color.
