Twenty years ago, Cort joined forces with world-renowned luthier Rob Elrick of Elrick Bass Guitars and developed a Cort version of the Elrick Evolution Bass that gained popularity among bassists. Now, in celebration of its thirtieth anniversary, Elrick Bass Guitars has teamed up with Cort again to launch the new Cort Elrick NJS basses. The NJS, short for New Jazz Standard, are modern jazz-style basses with unique features such as angled tuning machines and 24 frets with "Zero Fret," a "heelless" body design with extended treble access, and Voiced Tone VTBST pickups with a Bartolini preamp. Loved by many beginning and professional bassists over the years, the innovative design and excellent playability of the NJS basses are sure to please high-end bass enthusiasts.
