La HD10 SCE è una chitarra acustica elettrificata dreadnought a spalla mancante. La chitarra è dotata di un top in abete Sitka massello con rinforzo “cathedral peaked scalloped-X”, fondo, fasce e manico in mogano, una tastiera e un ponte in Ovangkol, meccaniche cromate pressofuse, battipenna tartarugato Washburn e una rosetta con disegno Washburn Heritage. La chitarra monta un preamplificatore Fishman Presys II 301T con accordatore integrato. Questo preamplificatore fornisce un tono acustico amplificato molto naturale e dispone di controlli di volume, bassi, alti e un interruttore di fase per il controllo del feedback.
