Set into a roasted poplar body, the 480 serves up enhanced resonance and lightweight playability, boosted by a Canadian roasted maple neck carved into a modern C shape. Joined with a rosewood fretboard and 22 medium jumbo frets, it feels almost effortless to play any style, from solo runs and string bends to jazzy chords near the nut. A genuine bone nut ensures clean string vibrations and greater sustain, raising the JS-480 above many others in its price category.
