IBANEZ UB804MOB Upright Bass Mahogany Oil Burst
This bass is the newest addition to the Bass Workshop series, and the very first instrument of its kind to be added to the Ibanez product line. This design (34" scale length) allows for a smooth transition from bass guitar to this particular upright. Its conical compound fingerboard radius perfectly facilitates smooth bowing and fast plucking. The compact Maple body was designed to balance form and function, resulting in a bass that provides outstanding visuals and incredible playability.
Despite its compact body, the UB804 does not sacrifice acoustic tone, projecting a robust natural sound. The smaller body also allows for quick and easy transport. The AeroSilk Piezo system is a Piezo system exclusive to Ibanez that enhances the acoustic upright quality of the sound. We calibrated this system to provide optimal performance on our upright bass.
