Description
The Fender Mustang III is a versatile and complete modeling guitar amplifier, and is the big brother of the Mustang I and II. This combo has a power of 100 watts and is equipped with a 12-inch Celestion G12T-100 speaker. The Mustang III gives you no less than 12 realistic amp sounds divided into 100 different presets, as well as 37 high-quality digital effects. It also features a built-in chromatic tuner, an effects loop and USB connectivity. In short, the Mustang III is ideal for practice sessions, jam sessions and performances of any genre and style.
Mustang III: Intuitive versatility
Ease of use is at the forefront of the Fender Mustang III. This combo offers traditional physical Gain, Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, Reverb and Master knobs. There is also a digital section with a large LCD screen on which you can clearly see all the preset information. Thanks to the large data wheel you can scroll through the 100 preset sounds and change the parameters of the effects. Below the Amp, Stomp, Mod, Delay and Reverb knobs you will find all the amp models and effects, which you can then adjust in detail on the screen. Both the positions of the physical buttons and the digital settings can be saved in your own user presets. The included footswitch allows you to scroll through the presets, switch between presets, activate/deactivate the effects and control the TAP tempo.
Convenient connections and USB connectivity
In addition to a wide range of sounds and functions, the Mustang III also offers a variety of convenient connections. It has an AUX input to allow you to play music from your MP3 player or iPod. The headphone input is at the same time a stereo line output with speaker emulation. Ideal for recording and late practice sessions. There’s also an effects loop for connecting external effects pedals or effects processors. Finally, there’s a high-quality, low-latency USB port for connecting to your PC or Mac.
