Ant B-TWIG 8
BTwig 8M is an evolution of his older successful companion BTwig 8, and it is comprised of a self-powered 8” subwoofer, completed by a slave top speaker with an array of 6 times 2.75” drivers.
The real treat in the acoustic design of the top is that you get a 120° horizontal dispersion, so a very wide coverage for any kind of application.
Other than its excellent sound performance, the main feature of BTwig 8M is the outstanding duration of the battery. In facts you can get up to 6.5 hours of playback at full power, which means with Bluetooth® receiver, microphone, display, and remote app controls on.
Functioning time will extend up to a whopping 10 hours when the system is pushed only at 80% max output, and it can reach up to 19 hours when used for background music only, around 25% power.
BTwig 8Mobile features a 3 channel integrated mixer with 2 combo mic or line inputs. These channels can also manage high impedance inputs such as an electric bass, acoustic guitar or other instruments.
The third channel is dedicated to a Bluetooth® stereo stream, or to a mini-jack aux input.
Speaking of Bluetooth®, the system takes full advantage of Qualcomm(R) true wireless stereo technology. That means you can cast a stereo signal to 2 systems at the same time, and this is definitely the best feature if you need a bigger PA for background music: no need for cables, no need for power sockets, you just need 2 BTwig 8 Ms and a smartphone to stream your jam in stereo. An IOS app will remotely control the mixer board, so levels, EQs and so on.
The same smartphone you are using to stream audio via Bluetooth®, will also be able to control all speaker settings simultaneously.
Any time you prefer to manage controls directly on board, there is this high brightness colour LCD on the top of the amp module allowing for complete control of the mix, and speaker settings.
