Ball-end. OVERVIEW: Savarez Argentine strings were introduced 60 years ago and have been used by the most renowned guitarists—from Django Reinhardt to Raphael Fays, Boulou Ferré, Pierre Lacombe, Romane, Patrick Saussois, and many others. They are particularly well-suited for legendary, master-crafted Selmer-Maccaferri guitars. Thanks to precise manufacturing techniques, Argentine strings offer a perfect blend of a steel core and silver-plated winding, ensuring superior durability. They produce a sound that is powerful and rich, yet brilliant and clean. Savarez Argentine strings are the only ones that truly reproduce the authentic Gypsy Manouche sound.
