The Yamaha P-S500 digital piano is a smart piano that syncs the "Stream Lights" function, which shows the performer which keys to play, with the "Smart Pianist" app, helping you with your piano lessons.

Simply connect the instrument to a smart device and use the dedicated Smart Pianist app to access all instrument controls and setup tools. You can also benefit from powerful features such as piano scores generated by the app from your favorite songs that help you learn and play along.

The red and blue lights above each key show you which notes to play, and when to play them. This amazing feature helps you learn how to play, practice, without having learned to read music, making learning more fun than before.

The instrument features 403 built-in songs covering a wide range of musical genres, from pop songs to classical pieces.

. The powerful Audio to Score function automatically creates piano accompaniment notations from your favorite audio tracks so you can play along with the original recordings.

The P-S500 incorporates piano sounds captured from Yamaha's top-of-the-range CFX concert grand piano and the famous Viennese Bösendorfer Imperial grand piano. These piano samples put two of the world's finest and most important concert grand pianos at your fingertips.

Thanks to Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) which calculates the various stages of the strings for each of the 88 notes on the keyboard, from one instant to the next, the P-S500 thus reproduces the unlimited number of factors that occur when playing an acoustic piano.

The 88-key Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) piano keyboard ensures a heavier touch in the bass register and a more delicate touch in the treble register, just like an acoustic piano.

The P-S500 features 660 varied and high-quality voices that are impressively replicated down to the subtlest nuances. Thanks to the acclaimed Super Articulation technology, the distinctive characteristics of each instrument are reproduced in incredible detail as you play.

Accompaniment and rhythmic patterns (called "Styles") covering a wide range of musical genres, including pop, jazz and many others, allow you to recreate the sound of a full band or orchestra by yourself.

The P-S500 allows you to record your performances in two different formats: audio and MIDI.

Since a microphone can be connected to the P-S500, you can enjoy singing along to the keyboard performance or along to the song playback. In addition, you can apply various studio-quality effects such as chorus to your voice and also cancel the vocal part on audio recordings, allowing you to sing along with (or instead of) your favorite artists and bands and enjoy performing better and better.

The Smart Pianist app supports not only wired connection, but also wireless with UD-WL01 adapter, Wi-Fi USB.
