To achieve a smaller product footprint, we developed the new GHC (Graded Hammer Compact) keyboard (88 keys), which is built to uncompromised standards and offers the same playing feel as an acoustic piano with GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) weighted keys used in previous P-Series models.

In addition, the P-225 features the sounds of Yamaha's top-of-the-line CFX concert grand piano. This model uses Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) Lite technology to replicate the expressive changes typical of a true grand piano.
