KORG XE20 is a digital piano with an 88-note weighted Natural Touch keyboard. It features a Stereo PCM sound engine with 184 notes of polyphony, including 2 grand piano multisamples and over 700 sounds across all timbre families, processed by 2 digital effects. 280 interactive Styles across every musical genre enrich each performance, while the internal Player/Recorder plays MIDI and Audio files (Mp3, Wav) from a USB stick, or records in real-time, allowing you to listen to the result through its internal 18Wx2 amplification; all enclosed in a compact and easy-to-transport cabinet.

XE20 - DIGITAL ENSEMBLE PIANO

It's a digital piano with automatic accompaniments, using an 88-note NH (Natural Weighted Hammer Action) weighted keyboard, with two distinct grand piano timbres and an interactive accompaniment library called Styles that enrich every performance by providing the musical backing of an entire band. By playing chords, the instrument automatically generates various accompanying musical parts with the most suitable instruments for the current Style, with the ability to select up to 4 Variations or add musical passages called Fills, Intro Break, or Ending at the desired moment - an excellent system for live performances, even extemporaneous ones!

Keyboard with the touch of an acoustic piano

This instrument uses an 88-key NH (Natural Weighted Hammer Action) weighted keyboard, which reproduces the touch of a grand piano, including the tactile sensation generated by the difference in hammer weight between the bass and treble registers. This component has great sensitivity and a refined balance to effortlessly achieve a wide dynamic range. It is also particularly suitable for specific piano study, and its extended range also favors the performance of four-hand piano pieces or fun duets with friends or family.

XE20 features the timbres of two of the most renowned and prestigious concert grand pianos worldwide:

    
• German Piano: powerful and expressive, an instrument loved by many pianists and concert performers, with a distinct and characteristic timbre, bright and present in the treble register, and dynamic and powerful in the bass range.

In addition to its extraordinary pianos, XE20 has a large and versatile sound database with over 700 very expressive and realistic timbres, including: electric pianos, organs, Synth Pads, Brass, Strings, Drum Kits and many others; all accurately sampled from real acoustic and digital instruments; each sound can be used for real-time performance or as part of automatic accompaniments.

The interactive accompaniments of XE20

The XE20 Styles automatically generate a complete musical accompaniment based on the selected Style and the chords played on the keyboard. A very realistic musical backing, similar to a real band that faithfully follows every musical need; in this way, the XE20 makes every performance more interesting and lively, whether it's your favorite song or a complex improvisation. The XE20 offers more than 280 Styles carefully selected from musical genres around the world, each with: 4 Variations (different degrees of arrangement complexity, from the simplest of VAR1 to the most instrument-rich of VAR4), which can be recalled with a simple touch of a button. In the same way, it is possible to set an introduction: INTRO, or an ending: ENDING, for the song you are playing. These musical parts can all be managed in real time, and add considerable variety to your performances.

Record and listen to songs with XE20

XE20 records and stores every performance so you can listen to it later; in SONG mode, you can also use musical media such as standard MIDI Files or Audio files like Mp3 or Wav, played directly from a USB storage device such as a flash drive.

Elegant design that adapts to any environment

KORG XE20 is only 34 cm deep and weighs only 11.4 kg (*without music stand and optional stand). The rational layout of the controls on the front panel gives it the typical appearance of a digital piano, while the slim and elegant line allows it to be suitably placed in any environment and decor; it can be positioned as desired, or according to needs: on a table, a desk, a standard keyboard stand, or on its dedicated optional stand, with a very effective overall aesthetic impact.

KORG Gadget 2 Le Music production App, DAW with integrated sound module

App dedicated to music production based on mobile devices such as iPad/iPhone, which features miniature synthesizer modules and Drum Machines called "gadgets", with the possibility to combine them freely to produce music easily and with an intuitive interface.

* Connecting "KORG Module Le" and "KORG Gadget 2 Le" to XE20 can increase the instrument's sounds and functionalities. Connecting to a PC requires a USB cable (not included), while connecting to an iPhone or iPad requires a USB cable + Lightning-USB camera adapter (both sold separately).
