The combination of Solid Spruce on the top and Solid Sapele on the back and sides, the result of careful research, gives this instrument a very broad and always well-balanced tonal spectrum on every single string. A decidedly important feature is the presence of a very high-performance amplification system, the Fishman Flex Blend: composed of a piezo and an internal condenser microphone, this system allows you to capture every nuance of the guitar thanks to the possibility of gradually adding the signal from the microphone to the piezo signal, via a "blend" potentiometer. Among the controls, in addition to the output Volume and blend, there is a display tuner (activable by pressing the volume potentiometer) and an EQ control that works in "mid-scooped" mode: when set to minimum, the signal is not equalized (flat); increasing it gradually reduces the mid frequencies in favor of bass and treble, very convenient for getting a sound that is already "ready" for the mix. If the guitar experiences feedback, a very common situation in acoustic settings, it is possible to invert the phase by pressing the EQ potentiometer.
