Description

The G55SCE is a Grand Auditorium style acoustic-electric guitar with a Venetian cutaway. The original feature of the Comfort series is the ergonomic armrest which provides maximum comfort to the guitar and, in the case of the G55SCE, becomes an integral part of the beautiful mahogany binding. The guitar features a Koa top, Koa back and sides, and mahogany/maple bound body and headstock. The inlay-less Ovangkol fingerboard and mahogany-bound Ovangkol bridge add an aura of understated elegance to the guitar. A maple/mahogany/maple strip also divides the Koa back. The headstock features a pearloid Washburn logo and a stylized W. The stunning Washburn Parquet style rosette is made from alternating maple and mahogany.
