Description

The G25SCE is a Grand Auditorium style acoustic-electric guitar with a Venetian cutaway. The original feature of the Comfort Series is the ergonomic armrest which provides maximum comfort while playing, and in the case of the G25SCE, it becomes an integral part of the beautiful mahogany binding. The guitar features a solid book-matched Sitka spruce top, Pau Ferro back and sides, and mahogany/maple bound body and headstock. The inlay-free Ovangkol fretboard and mahogany-bound Ovangkol bridge add an aura of understated elegance to the guitar. A maple/mahogany/maple stripe also divides the book-matched mahogany back. The headstock features a mother-of-pearl Washburn logo and a stylized W. The stunning Washburn Parquet style rosette is made of alternating maple and mahogany. The G25SCE is a fantastic sounding acoustic guitar on its own, but the addition of the high-quality Fishman + 501T preamp makes the guitar exceptional for amplified performances.
