Description

The VPJ-280V Vintage Sunburst is the 4-string electric bass from the "Tribute Vintage" series by Eko Guitars. Aesthetically inspired by the legendary Precision Bass, but with a sound straddling precision and jazz, it features a Pawlonia body, Maple neck, and 21-fret Eko WPC resin fingerboard. It mounts a JB pickup at the bridge and a PB pickup at the neck with separate Volume and 1 Tone controls. The pickup configuration allows the bassist to achieve jazz bass-like sounds, precision bass-like sounds, or blend them together.

After the research and experimentation in our lutherie workshop, we found it interesting to offer instruments with a vintage style, which never loses its appeal. Thanks to special colors and finishes, you can experience playing an instrument with timeless vintage style at an affordable price. 4-string bass with maple neck, bolt-on neck-to-body joint, and Pawlonia body. The truss rod is double-action, inside the Eko WPC (Wood Polymers Composite) resin fingerboard. The bridge is vintage style with 4 saddles; the pickups are a JB at the bridge (jazz bass style) and a PJ at the neck (precision style), with the possibility of selecting only one of the two or blending them together.
