Useful for playing music tracks, providing audio for a presentation, or supporting a DJ's performance on stage. The USB-Pro is a Plug & Play card; once connected to the computer, it is automatically detected as an audio device in popular operating systems like Windows and Mac. It features 24-bit/96 kHz digital-to-analog converters for high-quality audio performance, while a stereo pair of balanced XLR outputs allows connection to a microphone preamplifier, a PA system, a mixing console, or even a powered speaker, with integrated level control for quick and direct adjustment of output volume. Digital-to-analog conversion can be monitored via headphones through the 3.5mm analog output to check signal quality and level before connecting to an audio system. A mono-sum switch can be activated to check phase or for connection to a mono system. In case of noise or hum caused by ground loops, two recessed switches on the side allow the user to insert isolation transformers into the signal path. To further reduce susceptibility to noise, there is a Ground-lift switch that lifts pin 1 on both XLR jacks. Like all Radial products, the USB-Pro is designed to withstand the rigors of professional touring. Our unique book-end design creates protective zones around switches, connectors, and controls. Inside, I-Beam construction provides ample protection for the delicate internal PC board.
