Alto Professional TS408 is a powered loudspeaker with 2000W peak power (RMS: 650W low, 350W high), covering a frequency range from 52Hz to 20kHz and featuring three audio inputs with separate volume controls: two mic/line on Combo connectors and one wireless Bluetooth 5 with pairing buttons and stereo link function. Max SPL: 130dB (peak), 127dB (continuous). DSP functions controllable via iOS and Android app.

Alto TS408: True Sonic Power

Whatever your amplification needs, the Alto Professional TS408 speaker provides an elegant and high-quality product, with a 2000W peak power, an 8” woofer and a 1” compression tweeter, respectively equipped with 2” (50mm) and 1.4” (35 mm) voice coils, and Class D amplified with 650W and 350W RMS. The frequency response ranges from 62Hz to 20kHz with a tolerance margin of +/-3 dB, extending down to 52Hz in the low frequencies with a tolerance of -10 dB.

Free Alto iOS and Android App  

Configure and control your Alto Professional TS408 powered speaker from your smartphone and tablet thanks to the dedicated app, available for free for iOS and Android devices. In the application, you can configure the Bluetooth audio level, the speaker usage mode, set your custom equalization (with a 6-band parametric EQ), and the high-pass filter that best suits the size of your potential subwoofer. Moreover, you can configure the True Wireless Stereo Link directly in the app, thus minimizing setup times. A Type A USB socket on the rear panel of the TS408 allows for charging/powering smartphones and tablets.

3-channel mixer integrated into the TS408

As in all models of the TS4 by Alto Professional series, the smallest TS408 also features an integrated 3-channel mixer: 2 mic/line on Combo connectors (accepts XLR or 1/4” TRS Jack) and one wireless Bluetooth 5 with buttons for Pairing and Stereo Link function. The Mic/Line selector on the combo inputs allows for setting the appropriate pre-amplification depending on the connected source. With the XLR “Mix Out” output, wired daisy-chain connections are possible. You can then connect directly to your speaker and separately control the volume of the 3 connected sources: from dynamic microphones to keyboards, from musical instruments (including guitar and bass with active pickups) to guitar pedalboards, from mixers to audio interfaces, including various devices (computers, smartphones or tablets) with Bluetooth output.

Bluetooth Audio Connectivity & Speaker Linking

Nowadays, it is essential to be able to meet the needs of the audience and the client, minimizing audio system setup times and cable clutter. The Alto TS408, thanks to Bluetooth 5 audio connectivity, receives the signal reproduced from laptops, mobile phones, and tablets. With the True Wireless Stereo function, you can configure the reproduction of your set of Alto Professional TS408 speakers so that they reproduce the stereo image of the original source. All without cables!

The integrated DSP in Alto Pro TS408

There are three "Speaker Use" presets that you can select with the dedicated button on the rear panel: Live, DJ, and "Custom via App". The latter can be configured remotely via a 6-band parametric EQ present in the iOS/Android app. You can save your custom equalization directly on the speaker to quickly recall it when needed. With the "Sub Size" button, you can choose the most appropriate high-pass filter for use with small, medium, or large subwoofers.

Alto TS408 adapts to your needs

Lightweight (just over 9KG) and compact (436x256x245mm) despite its power, this powered speaker can be positioned in any way: on a stand thanks to the standard 36mm hole on the base, on the floor or as a stage monitor thanks to the particular shape of the cabinet, or suspended thanks to the integrated M6 threaded suspension points. Passive cooling, i.e., the absence of a fan, allows the TS408 to be used in environments that require particular silence from equipment: from theatrical performances to places of worship.
