The Tone Hammer 500 is a 500-watt bass amp head from Aguilar, based on the famous Tone Hammer pedal. This amp head is lightweight and compact, making it ideal for bassists who want a professional sound on the go. It features a 3-band EQ section with dedicated mid control and an integrated overdrive. It includes an effects loop and a balanced D.I. output, offering great flexibility and sound quality.

The new features of the second generation Tone Hammer 500 are significant. First, an IR Loader module has been introduced with three cabinet simulations that can be activated via a switch on the rear panel and modified via a USB connection. This allows bassists to customize their sound using the Aguilar Suite, which offers all Aguilar cabinet simulations and the ability to add their own Impulse Responses for total flexibility. A second XLR DI output has also been added, allowing you to send a pre-EQ and a post-EQ signal, making it easier to manage what you want to hear in your in-ear monitors or to re-amp in the studio. In addition, an Aux In and a headphone output with dedicated volume control have been added for daily practice and silent studio use. Finally, the new auto-switching transformer automatically recognizes the input voltage, eliminating the need to manually change switches when switching from 200 volts to 110 volts.
