Description

Oberheim TEO 5 is a modern instrument, a 5-voice (2 VCO, sub osc per voice) polyphonic analog synth with X-Mod (FM) equipped with a 3.5-octave (44-key) semi-weighted Fatar Premium keyboard, sensitive to velocity and aftertouch. The filter is a variable state SEM (lowpass, highpass, notch, and bandpass). The modulation matrix is rich and articulate. There are 2 24-bit/48kHz digital effects processors: one dedicated exclusively to reverb (room, hall, plate, spring) and another to effects such as delay, chorus, flanger, Oberheim phase shifter and ring modulator emulations. Stereo analog overdrive. 2 LFOs, 2 assignable ADSRs. Arpeggiator and 64-step polyphonic sequencer with ties and rests.

Thomas Elroy Oberheim. TEO. It's not an acronym, it's more than just initials, it represents the realization of a synth pioneer's vision. TEO-5 is a modern instrument, crafted with a classic analog soul, yet as elegant and powerful as you'd expect from a contemporary instrument.

TEO-5 captures the secrets of the OB-X, the Four Voice, and the TVS, their legendary spirit concentrated in a compact and accessible machine. It's what Tom, the master himself, has always wanted to build: a sonic palette within reach of any keyboardist or music producer.

Take your musical experience to the next level with true analog VCOs and VCFs. The TEO's five voices of polyphony "sing" with the warmth and power of triangle, sawtooth, and pulse waves. But this is not a one-trick synth... The updated oscillators can operate with analog FM, creating unprecedented sound textures. An organic sound, ready to be sculpted with the legendary SEM filter, Oberheim's distinctive core.

Modern Mastery Fused with Vintage Magic

Modulations that sculpt your sounds with precision, two digital effects: chorus, delay, and reverb to enhance the sound of a unique instrument. And for a taste of true Oberheim alchemy, leverage the emulations of Tom's legendary Phase Shifter and Ring Modulator to evoke swirling sounds and metallic resonances.

Not just a synth. With the TEO-5's 64-step polyphonic sequencer, you access infinite melodic possibilities, while the arpeggiator keeps your rhythms pulsating and thumping. Play it live with the premium Fatar keyboard, leveraging the expressiveness of aftertouch. From leads to chords, to thundering basses: the TEO-5 will elevate every aspect of your musical performance.
