Super D-18

The Martin Super D-18 takes the legendary Style 18 dreadnought to the next level. Thanks to an internal air volume 20% greater than a standard dreadnought, the Super D body unleashes impressive bass, greater sonic power, and extended dynamics, while maintaining the unmistakable Martin silhouette. Solid selected mahogany back and sides provide warmth, definition, and a decisive attack, while the spruce top ensures clarity, projection, and articulation across the entire sound spectrum. The GE scalloped X bracing with forward shift, already appreciated in the Modern Deluxe series, makes every note extremely responsive and vibrant, enhancing both light touch and more energetic performances. The aesthetic details remain faithful to tradition: black binding, Old Style 18 abalone dot inlays, and a satin-finished neck for smooth and natural playability. An ebony fingerboard and bridge complete an instrument that represents a true evolution of a Martin acoustic icon, designed for guitarists who want to be heard, without compromise.

Specifications of the Martin & Co.
