The Fender Squier FSR Classic Vibe '70s Jaguar Gold Sparkle is an affordable, limited-edition (Fender Special Run) instrument, inspired by the design of 1970s Fender Jaguar models, which will be appreciated by both beginners and experienced guitarists alike.

The guitar's poplar body is enhanced by a spectacular Gold Sparkle finish. The bolted-on maple neck with a narrower C-profile is glued to a fig wood fingerboard with twenty-two Narrow Tall frets. Players with smaller fingers will appreciate the instrument's shorter scale (610 mm). Orientation on the fingerboard is traditionally facilitated by faux mother-of-pearl block position markers.

Two proprietary single-coil pickups with Alnico magnets give the guitar an authentic Fender-character sound. To modify it, there is a complex switching method, typical of Jaguar guitars, where you choose between two circuits (Lead and Rhythm). In the former, both pickups can be activated, in the latter, only the neck pickup. Master Tone and Master Volume potentiometers are used to modify the sound of the Lead circuit, while the character of the Rhythm circuit is regulated by two knobs (dials) with Volume and Tone functions. Further sound corrections (switching between pickups) are made possible by three two-position switches.
