Meinl Sonic Energy Wind Gongs are traditionally handcrafted in China using a special bronze alloy. These gongs are also known as Feng or Sun Gongs and have an almost flat shape. This shape allows the gong's voice to open up completely with a wide tonal spectrum and a long sustain. Low tones are more dominant at low dynamics, but when played with more vigor the gong opens up well and produces full overtones. Each gong comes with a beater and a cover.
