SSL ULTRAVIOLET EqualiserULTRAVIOLET Stereo Equalizer is a new SSL 500 module that takes the EQ section of the Fusion and brings it into this format. The ULTRAVIOLET EQ goes further than the Fusion, adding two dedicated mid-bands with a Focus control, for greater flexibility. It is the ideal partner for the legendary SSL Bus Compressor 500 series module. The ULTRAVIOLET EQ, as in the best SSL traditions, is based on a careful selection of frequencies and response curves to create a musical and intuitive EQ, designed to quickly build the right sound for your mix.Focus ModeFocus mode allows the user to focus on specific frequency problems to attenuate or accentuate. Pressing the "Focus" switch automatically narrows the chosen Q factor and further increases the available gain range beyond the normal +/-9 dB operation.
