Description

The E Series Dynamics Module contains a compressor/limiter and an expander/gate; both faithfully recall the circuitry and key components that shaped the sound of the original SL 611E Series channel strip. An RMS converter is used in the side chain, while the gain section is made with a discrete component design identical to the Class A VCA chip used in the original. The compressor contains additional switching options to use an Over-easy curve and a linear release rather than the more common logarithmic curve.
