11202-03-RwRp-T Equipped with quarter-inch 5 Alnico rod magnets, these high-output Strat pickups deliver that huge Ritchie Blackmore Strat tone: big, meaty, and perfect for heavy rock. With more than twice the power of a traditional single-coil Stratocaster, Quarter Pound pickups will transform any Stratocaster into a snarling beast, giving you a fat, punchy tone with plenty of high-end sparkle. These high-output Strat pickups will give you big, powerful chords, and individual notes will jump out in a way that no other pickup can deliver. The individually hand-polished ¼” diameter Alnico 5 magnets contribute to plenty of high-end brilliance and mid-range harmonics that make this pickup so special. The middle pickup is RW/RP for hum-canceling operation in positions 2 and 4. The neck/bridge and middle pickups are also available in an optional tapped variant, allowing you to utilize both vintage and high-output tones with a single set. These coils are hand-built, lacquered, then wound and wax potted for squeal-free performance.
