The SE Hollowbody Standard Piezo is the hollowbody electric guitar with piezo from PRS's SE series. This guitar features a Mahogany body, 58/15 LT "S" pickups, and an LR Baggs/PRS piezo system. Dog Hair Smokeburst finish.

OVERVIEW OF THE PRS SE HOLLOWBODY STANDARD PIEZO DOG HAIR SMOKEBURST

The SE Hollowbody Standard Piezo features an all-Mahogany body with a hollow construction for a warm, resonant tone. Thanks to its 58/15 LT "S" pickups and the LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system, the SE Hollowbody Standard Piezo offers musicians the versatility to handle both acoustic and electric sounds in a single instrument. Additional features include a 22-fret Wide Fat neck, a bone nut, and a PRS adjustable Stoptail bridge.

This guitar has two discrete volume controls (one for the magnetic pickups, one for the piezo) and two output jacks (one for the magnetic pickups and one mix/piezo). You can connect the "Mix/Piezo" jack and use the individual volume controls to blend the 58/15 "S" pickups with the piezo. Alternatively, you can connect the jacks separately, so you can connect it to an electric guitar amplifier and an acoustic amplifier or a DI. When using the magnetic pickup output alone, the piezo battery is completely bypassed, acting as a failsafe (in this case, the magnetic pickups continue to work even if the piezo battery runs out).
