Roger Sadowsky's goal was always to further improve an already very successful bass design by making a number of detailed improvements.

Together with the electronics, which he developed himself, he managed to take the well-known P/J bass sound to a new level, so today we can speak of a typical Sadowsky tone: never harsh or strident, with a strong, powerful but never muddy bass sound, with present but not overly aggressive mids, and a sweet and airy high range.

All the characteristics of this modern bass sound can also be found in the 21-fret P/J hybrid basses of the MetroLine series.

With this 21-fret hybrid bass, you get a Black Satin finish, maple neck and fingerboard for a classic yet stylish look, and Sadowsky pickups and hardware for a full and versatile sound.
