Roland system1mSYSTEM-1m is a semi-modular synth with PLUG-OUT technology and a unique design, making it compatible with the Eurorack standard while also allowing it to be used "tabletop" or mounted in a 19" rack. In addition to being a powerful instrument in itself, SYSTEM-1m has an EXTERNAL Input and many CV/Gate connections that allow it to be re-patched or connected to other modules. Its CV/GATE connections, combined with the unique ability to load historical Roland synths such as SH-101 and PROMARS, give SYSTEM-1m simply unique power and flexibility. Modular synths are highly appreciated by musicians for their unique and interesting sound characteristics. However, they are often very expensive and not always easy to use. With SYSTEM-1m, you can start experimenting and having fun right away. The module can be placed anywhere or mounted in a standard 19" rack, and can be powered by a normal AC adapter (included). Like all modules, it can be played from any MIDI keyboard or receive MIDI messages from a DAW. But SYSTEM-1m is much more than a normal module. Thanks to the illuminated and color-coded patch connections, you can experiment by reconfiguring its architecture and connecting it to any other CV/GATE device. In addition to being able to be used "table-top" or in a rack, it can also be housed in a Eurorack case, and powered by the special power supply of this standard, thanks to the included connection cable.
