Description

The compact Fireface UC has been optimized for uncompromised top performance under both Windows and Mac OS.

The new RME Hammerfall core allows for extremely low latency values even when using many channels.
Furthermore, the Fireface UC uses two different firmwares with dedicated transfer methods that break down the limits of common USB audio devices.

The Win or Mac mode can be changed at any time directly from the unit: in Mac OS the MIDI ports of the Fireface UC are Class Compliant, and therefore the operating system automatically uses the provided MIDI driver.

In both operating systems, the latency values you can achieve are simply incredible.

* The lowest available value is 48 samples in Windows Vista, 14 in Mac OSX.


This means that RME guarantees performance similar to that of a PCI Express interface with a USB 2.0.
