Allen & Heath Qu-5D is a compact 96kHz digital mixer with 17 motorized faders and an integrated 16x16 Dante interface (48/96kHz). It offers 38 inputs (32 mono mic/line, 3 stereo), 12 mixes (6 mono, 6 stereo), and 4 matrices. It includes 6 FX processors, a 32x32 USB-C audio interface, multitrack recording to SD card, and USB-A for stereo rec/play. It features a 7” touchscreen, chromatic displays and meters for each channel, and 8 SoftKeys. It has an SLink port for Everything I/O expansion. With Gain and Feedback Assistant, a built-in 32-channel Automatic Mic Mixer, and full remote control via Qu-MixPad and Qu4You.

Allen & Heath Qu-5D is the compact digital mixer with integrated Dante interface that evolves the legendary Qu series, combining the new power of the 96kHz XCVI engine with modern connectivity and advanced but intuitive mix management. An ideal solution for AV installers, rental companies, theaters, and broadcast studios that require interoperability with Dante systems and high-resolution audio.

The mixer is based on the powerful Allen & Heath XCVI FPGA core, capable of managing a total of 38 inputs (32 linkable mono, 3 stereo) and 12 mixes (6 mono, 6 stereo), as well as 4 linkable mono matrices and 6 FX engines with dedicated returns, all with very low latency. In addition, it features a 16x16 Dante interface at 48/96kHz with an EtherCon lock connector for direct integration into professional audio networks.

The control surface includes 17 100mm motorized faders, 4 customizable layers, and 8 assignable SoftKeys. Each channel is equipped with a dedicated display and chromatic LED meter, while the new graphic interface, optimized for the 7" capacitive touchscreen, ensures quick and logical access to all main functions, perfect even for sound engineers accustomed to analog.

Qu-5D integrates intelligent tools that simplify setup and mixing: the Gain Assistant quickly sets ideal levels for each channel by monitoring real-time variations, while the Feedback Assistant automatically analyzes and attenuates critical frequencies. Completing the features is the 32-channel Automatic Mic Mixer (AMM), without additional latency, perfect for conferences and corporate events.

In addition to Dante connectivity, the mixer is equipped with a 32x32 USB-C interface for multitrack recording to DAW, an SD card slot for multitrack recording and playback (up to 32 tracks @48kHz or 16 @96kHz), and a USB-A port for stereo recordings or data transfer. The 128x128 SLink port allows expansion with Allen & Heath stageboxes from the dSnake, DX, and GX series.

Qu-5D can be remotely controlled with the free apps Qu-MixPad (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS) and Qu4You for musicians' personal monitoring. It is also 19” rack-mountable via an optional kit, making it ideal for fixed installations or compact touring.
