Overview

PROEL introduces the S Series, a new range of powerful and compact subwoofers specifically designed for perfect matching with PROEL full-range loudspeakers. The variety of sizes, powers and SPLs offered by the four active models is able to provide, at an unbeatable price level, the perfect low frequency extension for any loudspeaker model in the PROEL catalog.
All S models use high-excursion woofers in a Hybrid Band Pass (HBP) configuration. This innovative design is able to provide greater efficiency than direct radiation subwoofers and, furthermore, guarantees better coupling of the tuning ducts with the outside air, reducing distortion and turbulence, for a more defined sound and a deep and dynamic low frequency response.
The new CLASSD amplification modules with lightweight, compact and reliable Switch Mode power supplies are able to generate high levels of continuous power. All models include a STEREO input section, 24dB/oct crossover filters with selectable frequency and PHASE selector.
The cabinets are made of 15/18mm plywood and covered with extra-resistant polyurethane paint. They include two integrated handles and 75mm wheels for transport (S15 and S18)
