Overview

PROEL introduces the S Series, a new range of powerful and compact subwoofers designed to perfectly complement PROEL full-range loudspeakers. The variety of sizes, powers and SPLs offered by the four active models provide, at an unbeatable price level, the perfect low-frequency extension for any loudspeaker model in the PROEL catalog.
All S models use high-excursion woofers in a Hybrid Band Pass (HBP) configuration. This innovative design offers higher efficiency than direct-radiating subwoofers and also ensures better coupling of the tuning ports with the external air, reducing distortion and turbulence for a more defined sound and a deep, dynamic low-frequency response.
The new, lightweight, compact and reliable CLASS D amplification modules with Switch Mode power supply are capable of generating high levels of continuous power. All models include a STEREO input section, 24dB/oct. crossover filters with selectable frequency, and a PHASE selector.
The cabinets are constructed from 15/18mm plywood and finished with extra-durable polyurethane paint. They include two integrated handles and 75mm wheels for transport (S15 and S18).
