The new PLASMA COIL is Jack White's signature version of the Plasma distortion. It was designed and

manufactured by Gamechanger Audio, in collaboration with Jack White himself and Third Man Records.

Jack White has already enthusiastically used it on The Raconteurs' latest album "Help Us Stranger" and the subsequent tour, achieving truly unique and exclusive sounds!

The Plasma Coil takes the Plasma's high-voltage distortion to new heights, adding 6 new effects

of intense and gritty octave up/down, effects achieved thanks to the high-voltage transformer!

Specifications

• The Plasma Coil's high-voltage distortion circuit converts the audio signal into a series of 3.5 kV electrical discharges through a Xenon gas tube, and then converts it back into an audio signal.

• Unique frequency response, with an absolutely original distortion character

• The original method for achieving signal clipping produces a massive natural noise gate effect

• Controls: Volume, Voltage, Effect, Low Freq, High Freq, Effect Switch, ON/OFF Footswitch, Effect Footswitch

• The exclusive VOLTAGE control regulates the amount of electrical current sent to the PLASMA tube, adjusting sustain, noise gate threshold, and distortion character.

• 6 different effects: – Volume Boost – 2 Subharmonic modes (Bitcrush / Octave Down) – 1 Upper Harmonic mode (Octafuzz-style Octave Up) – 2 mixed modes (combined upper and lower harmonics)

• 2 EQ controls to increase or decrease LOW and HIGH frequencies over a very wide spectrum

• Effect switch (rear panel): configures the Effects footswitch as a latching or momentary ON/OFF switch.
