The AlphaTheta DDJ-GRV6 DJ controller revolutionizes the way DJs interact with their tracks, thanks to advanced AI step separation technology combined with a dedicated drum circuit section, allowing the drums of any track to be replaced and controlled. The four-channel DJ controller's unique "Groove Circuit" is located at the top of the faceplate, with dedicated buttons for drum swap and drum roll and a paddle controller for creating pitch drops.

Groove Circuit: Freely manipulate percussion parts and create new remixes

With the Groove Circuit function, you can easily create remixes: just press the dedicated buttons. This allows you to replace the percussion parts of a track – even during playback – with different percussion loops, transforming genres and creating unique remixes effortlessly. Furthermore, by applying effects to the percussion parts, you can easily create fills, build-ups and breakdowns. By freely manipulating the percussion parts, you can perform innovative and creative live remixes.

Layout based on the latest standard club DJ equipment

The DDJ-GRV6 features large jog wheels ideal for scratching, 8 Performance Pads positioned above the jog wheels – just like on the flagship CDJ-3000 multi-player – and Beat FX from the DJM-A9 in the mixer section. This means you can play with a similar feel to using standard club equipment and perform dynamically, combining expressive scratching with pad and effect techniques, perfect for club sets.

The Smart Rotary Selector and Discover function revolutionize track selection

Smart Rotary Selector

The DDJ-GRV6's new Smart Rotary Selector can be rotated up/down and left/right, and also allows for conventional rotation and push operations when using rekordbox for Mac/Windows ver. 7. Tilting left/right allows intuitive navigation through the media browser, tree view, and track list, while tilting up/down allows quick navigation through playlists and collections, enabling you to quickly find the desired track.

Discover function

By pressing the Discover button, you can quickly access the Track Suggestion function, which helps you rediscover old favorite tracks or encounter new ones. 

The DDJ-GRV6 is compatible with Serato DJ Pro, which includes the Stems FX function. Express your music by applying effects such as Roll, Trans, Echo Out, and Delay to the separated elements of a track: drums, bass, vocals, or melody. Apply the overlay sheet provided with the DDJ-GRV6 to change the button labels to Stems FX, for improved ease of use.

Multi-device compatibility: DJ with your PC/Mac, mobile devices, and more

You can choose to use the DDJ-GRV6 not only with rekordbox for Mac/Windows, but also with rekordbox for iOS/Android. With the ability to perform via a mobile device, you'll be free to DJ in your preferred style and in a variety of different environments.

Intuitive user experience and sophisticated design

Despite including many advanced functions, the matte black finish and ergonomic design make it easy to navigate the DDJ-GRV6. Despite the variety of functions, the minimalist display and indicators offer intuitive access to the necessary functions. Furthermore, the Groove Circuit, one of the unit's main features, is neatly arranged above the Performance Pads with an intermediate "step" to avoid accidentally touching a jog wheel during use. This elegant design allows you to unleash your creativity and perform simple or complex sets, depending on what you desire.
